Serving alcohol in catering establishments

Request

You need a liquor and hospitality license if you sell alcoholic beverages on a commercial basis or for a fee. This license is required by the Alcohol Act. The mayor issues the permit.

You must have the liquor and hospitality license changed when you change manager(s).

Do you want to serve alcohol temporarily, for example at an event? If so, you need a temporary liquor and hospitality license.

To apply for a liquor and catering license, make an appointment with the liquor license officer. He will provide you with further information. Your application will be tested against the BIBOB Act (Wet Bevordering Integriteitsbeoordelingen door het Openbaar Bestuur).
