Amend environmental plan
Preview of procedure to amend environmental plan
As under the (defunct) Spatial Planning Act, a draft plan is prepared during the preparatory phase. Under the Environment Act, however, we put more focus on the preparation of the plan, including the timely involvement of the environment. The formal procedure starts with the design phase, or the submission of the draft decision for public inspection. After publication, views can then be submitted for 6 weeks. This can be done by anyone. After assessing the received views, the decision phase follows. The municipal council adopts the amended environmental plan and publishes the decision. The decision can then be appealed for another 6 weeks.
Cost
Amending the environmental plan costs money (fees). See the Fee Ordinance of the Municipality of . The amounts are adjusted every year.
