Collective supplementary insurance

Basic health insurance is mandatory for everyone; supplemental insurance is a choice. Do you have a low income? Then you can participate in the municipality's collective supplementary insurance.

CZ group supplementary health insurance has the advantage that you get a 7% discount on the supplementary insurance premium, the local authority helps pay for it and CZ accepts your application, regardless of your health. It is important to note that you can only switch if you are not in arrears with your current insurer.

You are low-income if your net income is less than 120% of the Social Security standard applicable to you:

Do you want to change your health insurance and switch to CZ's collective supplementary health insurance? Then sign up before December 31 via the website of Gezond link-icon. Signing up is easy and can be done from mid-November when the health care premiums are known. You do need to provide your net income and your BSN number, so keep your BSN number and a paycheck from this or last month handy. If you need help applying, make an appointment at Lumens. Admission

You will be notified by CZ if you are admitted. You receive a policy and CZ informs Senzer. CZ also arranges the termination of the health insurance you currently have. Senzer administers the collective supplementary insurance for the municipality. Senzer tests your income against the set amounts. If the income is too high, the collective supplementary insurance will be terminated with effect from 2025.
