A Pas Vooruit is intended for minima who, due to various circumstances, have so many fixed expenses that their income does not leave them enough to do normal shopping for the family. The Pass Ahead can be used in all supermarkets. It covers fresh products from the supermarket, such as vegetables, fruit, meat, bread and dairy products. It is a normal bank card. The amount on the pass depends on the family situation and is € 80 to € 155 per month.

Key Text: The premise is that the Pass Ahead is temporary in nature. Therefore, the Pass Ahead is issued for 16 weeks. If necessary, the Pass can be extended.

Lumens

The Pass Ahead is implemented by Lumens. Lumens assesses the application and has regular meetings with the Pas Vooruit user. The pass holders can receive guidance from (a volunteer from) Lumens in running the household book. Lumens also monitors whether the pass is used at the supermarket to purchase fresh produce. The receipts from the supermarket should therefore be kept.
