Personal budget (pgb) rates Wmo per 1-1-2024
The pgb rates may change. Usually these changes take place annually on January 1. The manner in which the municipality changes the rates is established by the municipality in the Social Support Regulation and the Social Support Decree.
In addition, following the CRvB ruling, the rates for private caregivers will be based on the collective bargaining agreements for assistance as of 1-1-2024; CAO VVT wage scale 30-10 and for domestic support CAO VVT wage scale 5 Hbh.
Updated text: For all pgb's the main rule still applies that in principle a pgb cannot exceed the rate paid by the municipality for comparable contracted care (care in kind rate). We have included this rate in the tables below in the form of a maximum annual budget.
For a care allocation that does not cover the entire calendar year, this maximum annual budget is calculated pro rata.
Household support
The necessary care commitment is determined using a point system. On this basis, the amount of the pgb is determined. The number of points is multiplied by a calculation factor and that determines the amount of the annual budget. The calculation factor is indexed in the same way as the PGB rate.
PGBs set in hours are also indexed annually.

Support meals
The pgb rate for preparing and putting down the meal is €10.78 per meal.
Guidance
We have 2 PGB rates, namely for guidance individual and for guidance group. The table below shows the PGB rate for professional service providers, where the total PGB is no more than the rate the municipality pays for contracted care (care in kind rate).
Guidance individual and group is always awarded in actual hours/dayparts and not in bandwidths. The bandwidth is used to determine the maximum annual budget.

Short-term stay Wmo
The rate for short-term stay is for the cost of the stay (lodging and meals). This budget therefore does not include any costs for supervision or other support. Short-term stay is granted for a maximum of 52 24-hour days per calendar year.
