Environmental Plan
In the environmental plan you will find the general rules for the physical environment in our municipality. It contains our rules about what you may do in your environment, how you may use a place and what you may build or remodel there. It is the successor to the previously applicable zoning plans, but also goes further. The environmental plan is about the quality, safety and sustainability of our entire living environment.
Consulting the environment plan
You can view the current version of the environment plan via the digital environment counter external link . This includes: 'rules on ' in the menu bar at the top. There you can enter your address and see what rules apply to your location. The temporary environmental plan
As of January 1, 2024, the previously applicable zoning plans are automatically transferred to the environmental plan. Because this environmental plan does not yet have its final form, we will still speak of a temporary environmental plan until 2032 at the latest. We will gradually renew the information in the temporary environmental plan by adopting the new environmental plan in parts.
Review of the environmental plan
Activities in the physical environment, such as building and remodeling, cutting down a tree or using land, must comply with the rules in the environmental plan. If you have a plan that does not fit within the rules of the environmental plan, please contact the municipality via telephone number 0492-378 500 or via e-mail gemeente@gemert-bakel.nl. In consultation, we will examine whether the plan could still be realized and what procedure could provide the opportunity to do so. The Environment Act has three variants:
- The within-plan environmental planning activity (OPA);
- The out-of-plan environmental planning activity (BOPA);
- Amending the environmental plan
