Peelland Intervention Team (PIT).

The Peelland Intervention Team (PIT) is an intervention team under the direction of the six Peel municipalities; Gemert-Bakel, Asten, Deurne, Helmond, Laarbeek and Someren, with control at one central point. The PIT plays an important role in the integrated approach to undermining crime, enforcement bottlenecks and nuisance.

The team looks at fire safety, accounting, illegal occupancy, permits, BRP (Basic Registration of Persons) registration, human trafficking, prostitution, drugs, social security fraud and other violation of laws and regulations.
