Belastingsamenwerking Oost-Brabant (BSOB) handles the assessment of municipal and water board taxes for the municipality of Gemert-Bakel.
Every year, as a dog owner, you will receive a dog tax assessment. If you as a dog owner do not pay tax, you may be fined. Village guards may ask you for your information. They then check if your dog is registered with the municipality.
Belastingsamenwerking Oost-Brabant (BSOB) will handle taxes for the municipality of Gemert-Bakel as of January 1, 2018. Residents and businesses will receive one combined assessment notice for municipal taxes and water board taxes from BSOB at the end of February. However, Gemert-Bakel municipality and the Water Board remain responsible for the level of rates, regulations and waiver standards.
The municipality pays for the regular collection of garbage, PMD, GFT, glass, paper and incineration. To pay for these costs, the municipality passes the costs on. For companies, this is in the form of a cleaning fee. You will receive an assessment for this twice a year.
