Incidental grant for volunteer organizations
The City Council may award a grant to an organization. It may be a multi-year/ structural grant or an occasional/ one-time grant. Of these, the following forms exist: 1. Appreciation grant, 2. Project grant.
1. Appreciation Grant
An appreciation grant is awarded when the college wishes to recognize or appreciate a particular activity. This token of appreciation has a maximum of €300.
2. Project Grant
A project grant is a grant intended for a coherent set of activities, carried out over a specified period of time, to achieve a specific goal. The activities can be described as: policy-intensive or innovative, start-up or as a one-time event.
For whom.
One-time or incidental grants are for volunteer organizations only.
Tips and concerns
The one-time or incidental grant should be seen as a supplementary grant. The applicant will have to demonstrate that there are other sources of income to balance the budget of the association, activity or project. A volunteer organization can apply for only one occasional grant per activity per year.
