Structural grant for volunteer organizations

The City Council may award a grant to an organization, which may be an occasional / one-time grant or a multi-year / structural grant. To qualify for a structural grant, the organization must meet the following spearheads: 1. Youth and Young People, 2. Vulnerable target groups, 3. Innovation and Collaboration

For whom.

These structural grants are for volunteer organizations only.

To qualify for a structural grant, the organization must meet the following spearheads:

  1. Youth and Youth
  2. Vulnerable target groups
  3. Innovation and Collaboration

Tips and concerns

The structural grant should be viewed as a supplemental grant. The organization will have to demonstrate that there are other sources of income to balance the budget.

Request

You always apply for a multi-year or structural grant in writing or by e-mail. You motivate how much long-term subsidy you are requesting and for what purpose. The letter should be addressed to the Municipal Executive.

Letter must be accompanied by the following documents:

  • activity plan
  • copy of the bylaws (you do this only if the association has not previously applied for a grant)
  • A description of the organizational form and a statement of the board composition
  • budget
  • understanding financial data

If a multi-year grant is awarded, you must submit the following documents annually for justification: annual report, budget, operating statement and membership list.
