Thirty regions in the Netherlands are working a lot together on a concrete approach to generate sustainable energy in 2030: the Regional Energy Strategy (RES). The regional approach appears to be working and bringing movement to the energy transition. In their RES 1.0, the regions set an even higher ambition than they did last time: about 55 TWh in 2023.
