Communicating relocation

You can:

• icon with your DigiD.
• in writing. Send the completed declaration form to us.
• at the front desk. To do so, you must make an appointment, which can be done online or by calling 0492-378 500.

The municipality will process your data within a maximum of 10 working days. You will receive a message about this.

The following individuals may report a move:

• everyone 16 years and older for themselves
• cohabiting spouses/registered partners for each other (only if they move together from one address to another)
• the parent, guardian or caregiver for minor children
• parent(s) for resident adult children (only if they move together from one address to another)
• adult children for resident parent(s) (only if they move together from one address to another)
• the trustee for a person under guardianship
• someone you have authorized to communicate the move for you

• Are you moving to Gemert-Bakel from abroad? Then look at settling in from abroad.
• Are you moving to Gemert-Bakel from abroad and have you previously been registered in the Netherlands? Then look at resettlement in the BRP.
• Are you moving from Gemert-Bakel to another municipality? Then you only need to report your move in your new municipality.
• Are you moving abroad from Gemert-Bakel? Then look at Reporting your move abroad (Emigration).

When reporting in person at the front desk

• Valid ID
• If required, a declaration of In case of a letter address: written consent of the letter address giver and a copy of his identification card

Upon written notification

• Letter signed by you with the declaration form change of link icon
• Copy of your valid ID
• If required, a declaration of In case of a letter address: written consent of the letter address giver and a copy of his identification card
• If you live together, other than because of marriage or registered partnership, you both sign the returns and also send a copy of a valid ID from both of you.

When subletting or cohabiting and when living together:

• A written statement(declaration of ) from the principal resident or owner and
• (a copy of) the proof of identity of the principal occupant or owner and
• (A copy of) the rental contract or proof of ownership of the property.
